A Letter from Our Co-Founders

Dear Farther Team,

When we started Farther, our goal was straightforward: build a wealth management institution on modern technology rails that empowers advisors and their clients alike. Today, we are thrilled to share that Farther has closed a $72 million Series C funding round – led by CapitalG and Viewpoint Ventures to continue doing just that. This milestone marks an important step in our company’s journey to revolutionize wealth management. 

The fundraising round roughly quadruples Farther’s valuation to $542 million from $132 million at the close of our Series B raise just a year ago. It also coincides with the firm growing to $5 billion in assets under management, about 5x larger than we were a year ago. While the numbers speak to our company’s growth trajectory, what excites us most is the continued validation of the vision.

Farther’s success is the direct result of the dedication and hard work of our world-class advisors and talented team. Together, we’ve built a tremendous platform that combines the best of bespoke expertise with powerful technology capabilities that empower us to deliver exceptional outcomes and elite experiences.

But we’re just getting started. We’re energized to continue building a generational financial institution that will pioneer the future of wealth management, where every aspect of a client’s financial life comes together, and where everything just works. 

Having experienced firsthand the inefficiencies that hold advisors back – outdated, fragmented technologies, operational bottlenecks, lacking services – Farther took a different approach. We believe in building our own technology, from the ground up. This allows us to solve real-world problems and create a future where wealth management is more efficient, scalable, and responsive to the needs of both clients and advisors.

As we continue enhancing Farther’s technology, our focus remains on fueling advisor growth, streamlining operations, and elevating the client experience.
