About

Tony began his career at Piper Jaffray in 1995 on the equity trading desk. He was appointed Managing Director in 2004 and Head of Equity Trading in 2012 – and continued to trade his own book, while connecting daily with portfolio managers, traders, and analysts from some of the world’s largest mutual funds and hedge funds. Tony also oversaw the risk of the entire trading desk. 

In 2017, Tony left the institutional trading world to specialize in wealth management. His particular areas of focus include retirement planning and portfolio management, building on 22 years on a trading desk and 6 more in wealth management.

Tony is based in Shoreview, Minnesota. When not in the office, you can find him at the baseball field – watching his sons play high school and college baseball.
