Jeff Hawkins

With nearly three decades of financial services experience, Jeff has centered his practice around providing objective, independent, and comprehensive advice and service to individuals and families. His goal is to help each of his clients achieve the lives they want: ultimately, money is just fuel, but a rich life is defined differently for each person. 

Prior to joining Farther in 2023, Jeff was most recently a Senior Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (United Capital), where he started in 2012. Jeff began his financial services career at The Franklin Templeton Group in 1991 and also held roles at Robertson Stephens Investment Management and Schultz Collins Lawson Chambers, Inc., an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm, where he advised and worked with individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. 

Jeff holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and received his MBA from The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Upon Jeff's graduation from Dartmouth, he played a year of professional tennis – competing in the United States, Europe and Asia – and achieved an Association of Tennis Professionals world doubles ranking. Jeff was also a member of the Squaw Valley National Ski Patrol for seven years.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Jeff and his family relocated to Bend, Oregon, in early 2020. He enjoys pickleball, skiing (all kinds), mountain biking, hiking, an occasional round of golf, and spending time with his wife and four children.
