Tony Danaher is the President and majority Partner of Guild Investment Management (GIM) and an affiliated advisor with Farther, joining the platform in 2024. With over three decades at Guild, Tony has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s mission to deliver positive returns for clients across global markets. Since its founding in 1971, GIM has earned a reputation for navigating diverse market cycles with precision — a legacy Tony continues to uphold at Farther.

Since joining Guild in 1990, Tony has become a cornerstone of the firm’s operations. As Chair of the Investment Committee, he leads portfolio management and strategic investment decisions. Additionally, as Chief Compliance Officer, he oversees client services, regulatory compliance, accounting, and administrative operations, ensuring exceptional standards of integrity and service.

Tony’s expertise in income-generating and commodity-related investments has been highlighted in top-tier financial publications including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily, and Bloomberg, reflecting his deep understanding of global markets and macroeconomic trends.

A lifelong learner, Tony holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA in Business and Accounting from Maharishi International University. His strong accounting foundation underpins Guild’s transparent client reporting and drives his meticulous research into new investment opportunities. When not staying current researching technologies, industries, economies, and companies, Tony devotes time to study of the past as a history enthusiast.

Based in the Malibu area of Los Angeles, California, Tony and his wife, Eden, prioritize family and community. Their home serves as a welcoming hub for their two sons, Tony’s mother, and over the years other members of their large extended family have made it their home, reflecting their balance of professional success and deep family values.
